The Lagoon Airlie Beach

Located in the heart of Airlie Beach is one of the town?s main attractions. The Lagoon is a tropical swimming pool, on the beachfront of Airlie Beach. It is a great spot to chill out, socialise, have a barbeque, and of course take a dip. Stay for an hour or stay for the day the Lagoon is a free of charge attraction that is metres away from the Main strip of town.

A place to relax

The Lagoon has 6 Electric Barbeques, free of charge, 4 picnic tables, and a playground, plenty of shade and Life guards on duty all day, which makes the Lagoon a safe and family friendly environment. The Lagoon was designed to reflect the tropical environment which is the Whitsundays. There are sandy areas to give you the feel of the beach, walkways and bridges and lush palm trees around the perimeter.

Just one block from town, the Lagoon is a great meeting point, ideal place for lunch and fantastic spot to read your book and listen to your favourite tracks on your mp3 player. The Lagoon occupies a large area so if you want some quiet time find a nice spot under a tree or throw out your towel on the sand and join the tourists and locals alike soaking up the sun.

Gather your friends, your book, some tunes, and some fish and chips from the main strip and head to the Lagoon. It is the place to hang out in Airlie Beach.
